Power to the Schools
For just a dollar or more a month, you can make a powerful difference!

Funds go directly to Decatur City Schools Foundation which gives 100% of Power to the Schools funding to public education in Decatur.

Severe Weather Shelter

Both Austin and Decatur High Schools serve as a severe weather shelter for the public when school is not in session. We expect these shelters to be opened Saturday shortly after the issuance of a tornado watch. Austin's shelter area can be accessed using the far end of the right side of the building when facing the front of the school. There is an awning for drop off at the entrance. Decatur's entrance is on the main campus side of the school by utilizing the metal gates that access the courtyard.
