Happy Retirement!

happy retirement to our friends
Happy retirement to some of our favorite people! We are not going to say good-bye; we will just say, "See you later!" Each person has contributed so much of themselves to Austin High School and to our students. Please come back to see us often. We wish you the very best in this new chapter of your lives.

In The Spotlight

Decatur City Schools recently purchased Newsela for teachers and students to use as a resource to help master standards. Newsela gives insights like real-time student reading activity, independent reading preferences, assignment completion, and quiz scores to help guide instruction. It is a fantastic way to differentiate instruction in the  classroom and engage students in real, meaningful learning about the world around them.
